Intermediate Vertical to Gourdneck

We are doing an exploratory trip to Groudneck Cave.  It is a wet cave and we will be wearing wet suits.  

We will leave the campout location at 9:30am EST.  We are trying to be to Gourdneck not later than 11am EST.  We should all be on a text thread and can communicate about meeting time and place. 

The drop in is 30ft and it is mostly nice walking stream passage with plenty to see.  We will bring our gear with us and access the pre rigged rope inside the cave.  We plan to turn around at the waterfall.

As always wear synthetic fiber clothing that will dry quickly.  As I said we are wearing wet suits and unless you run hot and are familiar yourself in wet caves, we strongly suggest you also wear a wet suit.

Bring knee pads, helmet, light and extra sources of light and batteries.  The trip should take 4-5 hours, so bring water and bring snacks.
