Work Weekend @ NSS Headquarters

The headquarters is in need of A LOT of tree work due to the most recent snow storms that have passed through the area. The plan is to clear the north fence line to see what kind of condition it is in. If you have the tools available, we will need loppers, pruners, and chainsaws. If we have any arborists in attendance, we will also need to bring some trees down. If weather is nasty that weekend, we will be pulling ceiling tiles and disconnecting circuits in two of the back rooms. Regardless of which job we do, it will be an all day activity. Camping will be available inside and outside both Friday and Saturday night, and we will go caving on Sunday. 

Later that evening, the Alabama Cave Survey (ACS) will host their annual meeting at the headquarters. Annual membership dues of $10 will be due at the meeting. The ACS is also offering lifetime memberships, which are 20 times the annual rate ($200). Cash or check is accepted, but PayPal is preferred - Just send the dues to membership@alabamacavesurvey.org.
