The November Dogwood City Grotto meeting will be at the Southeastern Cave Conservancy, Inc's (SCCi) Charles B Henson Preserve at Johnsons Crook in Dade County, Georgia. This is a remote area with many caves within walking distance from the campsite. There are horizontal and vertical caves for all skill levels available in the area.
The grotto will be camping Friday through Sunday, but feel free to come for only a portion of the weekend.
On Sunday, we will be doing a service project by picking up trash. We will get going around 8am, but feel free to join us later. Pick up a few pieces of trash before you leave!
A PERMIT MUST BE SIGNED IN ORDER TO BE ON THE PROPERTY.
Once you register for the event, you will be sent the permit number and link to where you can sign on the SCCi's website. As the event gets closer, more instructions will be sent to only those which have signed the permit.
